Dear all of you,
Year after year, the Progress Club Regina continues to astound our school community with your willingness to make the Christmas season incredibly bright for families you have never met.
As educators, we are finding ourselves exhausted and drained after such hectic and uncertain times. It is often easy to lose sight of the love, care and compassion humanity offers all.
You all have reminded us that even during the worst of times, life’s philosophy of giving more than you receive has never resonated more.
20 families, many who are struggling to put food on the table, have each received $300 in gift cards because of your generousity.
As we express our gratitude, we will never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
Because of you, the giving continues making our community stronger than ever.
On behalf of our school community, a student in Grade 8 created the attached sketch for you to show our appreciation.
A framed copy is ready to be delivered to the club to display should you choose. Also, please know social media is buzzing with our gratitude, our school sign sings your praises and we promise to post on our school website in the New Year!
Thank you for keeping Christ in Christmas! You all are truly inspirational, incredible and instruments of greatness.
With sincere gratitude,
St. Francis Community School staff and students
