The Brampton  Progress Club  sponsored for the 27th year “The Spirit of Christmas Food Drive “. The event takes place during the annual Brampton Santa Claus Parade. The Chuck Wagon float goes down the parade route collecting food and money from the spectators . This year club members along with friends and family members walk the parade help spread Christmas cheer while working hard gathering the donations along the route.

This years event gathered 3000 lb of food and $3000.00 cash donations . The Club will top up the cash donation to the Salvation Army Food Bank to $5000.00.
